First: me and my family are Germans and we are used to good standard and way of life and its important for me to underline: we didn´t find this bad conditions what can be read in several evaluations!
I write in English because many people shall be informed, that in summary we had a good holiday in Las Olas and we want to come back for holliday again.
We mainly made good experience like:
+ reception was very kind and also most employees were kind;
o houses, pool and garden were nice, cleanliness has to be improved;
+ Most of the day it was really quiet an relaxing at the pool
o appartment was big, equipment not bad, cleanliness was moderate;
+ after some objective claims about cleanliness or defects, they
immediately took action and improved the situation satisfying
+ I met the new manager a few times, he started in the late spring of
2008, and it seemed, in a few month he achieved good progress and
improvements, even in the two weeks we stood at Las Olas, we initiated
and monitored a positive trend; the manager is on a succesful way
+ The food was good, the offer was good every day and during one
week the varity was ok
- The temperature in the dining hall was not comfortable, because a not
running air condition
+ The snacks and the service at the pool bar were very good and the
team commendable
- Animation was poor
+ The price/performance ratio was a good one!
Dear critical tourists, please be always aware of the good price / performance ratio and that you spend your time on an island of spain in the very south of Europe. People have their own culture, it is different from what you are used to! Your are guests there.
Especially the behaviour of British people sadly was not the best one!
